Term 2A Jan/Feb

We finished our Japan topic by having a Japan Day. We performed a fan dance in assembly, sang a Japanese song and had food in our Japanese restaurant,. We enjoyed tasting Katsu curry, green Kit Kats and green tea.

We have enjoyed our ABL this half term. We have been creating cherry blossom trees, writing our names in Japanese, doing origami, typing postcards from Japan, creating sushi with play doh and practising telling time.

We have been learning how to do handstands in PE.

We wrote Winter Haiku poems in a group

In ICT, the children used an app called Pic Collage to create posters about Japan. The children had to use the internet to search for photos and insert them onto their poster.
